Costa Rica also known as the Rich Coast is located in Central America. San Jose is the capital. La Paz –
As mentioned earlier, La Paz is home to 5 gushing waterfalls and is located right outside San Jose. Lush rain forests, monkeys, birds, tropical animals are also things that you get to see. You can get a self-guided tour as the paths are marked for your well-rounded experience of a rainforest. There is a butterfly observatory and a hummingbird garden where you can feed animals with your hands.
Punta Uva –
The Punta Uva beach is one of the most romantic places in Costa Rica. It is divided into 2 parts – the north and the south. The south has a stretch of white sand whit palms swaying the breeze. The northern side has a smaller beach that is protected and is good for surfing or snorkeling. You and our partner can rent a kayak and take it out onto the water. Or just relax with a picnic on the southside
Playa Chiquita –
Playa Chiquita is a small coastal area with a coral reef. It is ideal for snorkeling and one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica for couples. It is kind of hidden because a rainforest exists between the beach and the road. There is no sign that says the beach exists there, so it is special. In certain times, nudists also come here to take advantage of the privacy. Couples can advantage of privacy too!
Corcovado National Park –
This is a natural preserve in the southwestern corner of the country. The most popular route is through Puerto Jimenez, along a coastal path. You will see swamps, mangroves, and cloud forests. Corcovado has more than 500 species of trees and exotic wildlife such as 3 toed sloths, howler monkeys, capuchin, puma and jaguar. You can go hiking through the forests and enjoy the natural beauty of the place.
Tortuguero –
This is one of the best honeymoon spots in Costa Rica as it is secluded. You can get here only by boat or plane. The place holds a romantic appeal. Beaches lined with palm trees and clear warm waters welcome you. You can relax on the warm sand or go snorkeling to see the marine life. This can be like your private tropical paradise for you and your lover to enjoy.
